What began as curiosity around a celebrity lawsuit slowly revealed something much deeper: the machinery of narrative, power, media influence, and the unsettling human tendency to defend systems that may be harming us. The Systems We Defend is not really about celebrities at all. It is a reflection on perception, conditioning, fear, aspiration, and the psychological comfort people often find in protecting the very structures that confine them.
